Aware Fish Id - $150

Something that all of us have said or heard another diver say after a dive is, "what kind of fish was that with the yellow thingy and funny tail fin?" By taking the PADI AWARE Fish Id class you will enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see. The fun part about this course is you can use the skills you learn on every dive locally as well as any dive vacation across the globe, because once you learn the main fish families and characteristics you will be able to decipher the species you see all over the world.

Deep Diver - $200

Do you want to dive beyond 60 feet? Would you like to see what it looks and feels like at 130 feet? Do you want to open the door to diving deeper wrecks? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then PADI's Deep Diver specialty class is what your looking for. This class will teach you the techniques and equipment considerations for diving in the 60-130 foot range. It will provide experience in planning, organizing and making deep dives under your instructors supervision.

Learn how to choose the right underwater camera system for you, the PADI SEA method for getting great shots quickly, and the three primary principles for good underwater photos.

Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver - $150

Dive Propulsion Vehicles (DPV's) offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time. They scoot you through the water without you having to kick. There's nothing like soaring through a kelp forest, over coral reefs or around majestic wrecks! Whether making a shore dive or diving from a boat, a DPV is a great way to see more and have a blast doing it. In this PADI course, learn the special procedures, techniques, equipment considerations, and possible problems and hazards associated with DPV's. Also, learn proper diver etiquette and how to avoid harming fragile aquatic life.

Drysuit Diver - $225

Want to stay warm and toasty on a dive? Then dive dry. Unlike a wetsuit, a drysuit seals you from the outside water and your undergarments keep you warm and toasty! Drysuits allow you to dive year round, even in the coldest waters. The PADI Drysuit course teaches you the specialized skills to operate your drysuit safely. Learn new considerations for proper weighting, and how to inflate and deflate your suit for proper buoyancy technique. As a drysuit diver, you're equipped to scuba dive some of the world's most incredible dive sites, in its coldest regions, best enjoyed in a drysuit even in their warmer months.

Enriched Air Diver - $190

Are you planning a vacation where you will be diving multiple days? Would you like more no deco time while diving, or do you want to return to the water sooner when doing multiple dives? If the answer is yes, you can you can benefit greatly by taking the Enriched Air (Nitrox) class. In this class you will learn the techniques for maximizing your bottom time by using enriched air, special diving equipment considerations, and considerations specific to enriched air, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what is in your scuba tank, and how to set your computer accordingly. This is one of PADI's most popular certifications because you learn how to increase your time under the water.

Night

Night Diver - $175

As the sun sets, you don your dive gear and off you go, entering the fascinating underwater night. Although you've dove this site many times before, this time it's like visiting a whole new world. As you watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light, you lose any apprehensions you might have had. You are amazed and excited by the creatures you see for the first time. You revel at the sight of so many different fish, shrimp, lobster, crab, and octopi, not hiding in crooks and crevices anymore, but out and about on the hunt. First-time night divers enjoy taking the night diver class so much, it's not uncommon to hear them say, "That was the coolest dive I've ever done! There's just so much going on down there at night." Soon this may become your favorite type of diving.

Search and Recovery Diver - $200

Ever needed to find something that the surf zone decided to claim as its own? Want to search for lost treasure? Then you want to develop your search and RECOVERY skills through this fun and challenging PADI course. Learn search patterns to locate the lost treasure and the skills to bring it to the surface. Whether small, large, or just awkward, you will learn how to tie different knots and use these knots to attach the object to a lift bag which you will use in the recovery process. You will have a great time adding these useful skills to your scuba diving arsenal. Just think, as a search and recovery diver, you might become someone's hero.

Wreck

Wreck Diver - $275

Whether sunk on purpose as an artificial reef or the result of a mishap, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they're intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. Learn the ins and outs of responsible wreck diving. Discover what special gear is required and how to plan your wreck dive. Then it is time to practice what you've learned by diving San Diego's own Wreck Alley. Use your new powers of observation and the dive skills you've learned to execute and enjoy this challenging, yet rewarding, type of diving.
